Spent Sunday night creating my October bullet journal setup. Here's what those blissful 20 mins look like at 20x speed! What sort of monthly planning system do you use? #saveourselves #saveourselvesblog #bulletjournal #october #hyperlapse

It's autumnal equinox and I woke up to the best view of the clouds greeting the rising sun! It's a lovely new beginning as days start to become shorter. The season invites us to shed our energy of the summer and simmer in the quite strength that autumn brings. It invites us to slow down, be more intentional and breathe a little deeper. The season may be short lived, but it might just be the one that imprints upon you the most! #saveourselves #saveourselvesblog #slowreels #autumn

This reel was filmed and edited whilst this coffee was being made and sipped. I'm really enjoying making content spontaneously, I feel like I produce my best work that way! #saveourselves #saveourselvesblog #autumn #thoughtsaboutlife #slowreels

There was a roller skating event coming up and I really wanted to go! So I asked all my friends and everyone was either busy or not really interested in that particular activity. I thought about it for a while. "Maybe I shouldn't go? I don't want to seem like a creep or a loser." That's what was going through my mind. It's a shame how my internal compass associated solo activities with a sense of failure. Because that's absolutely not true. So, I decided to go! To challenge this notion that I had. And you know what? Nobody cared. I didnt really feel like I was alone. I found the courage to go up to a woman and ask her to get a video of me skating. It was uncomfortable, but I did it. And it was so fun! Obviously, it's easier to do solo activities in a big city where not a lot of people know you. But I hope this encourages you to go do that thing you've been meaning to do, even if no one else is willing to or able to come along. It's better to do it alone than regret not doing it. 💛 #saveourselves #saveourselvesblog #reelsaboutlife #soloactivities #rollerskating

Just a few random thoughts running through my mind as it stumbles along it's way to stillness. I've been loving the early summer mornings. The sun wakes me up to the freshness of a new day, I watch as children walk to school, dogs trot along and runners whizz past me, leaving behind a piece of their motivation for me to borrow. It's been quite healing to have a string of slow mornings and take the days as they come, without much structure or plans. How have you been lately? #saveourselves #smallmoments #saveourselvesblog #morningmotivation #slowmornings

Here's an excerpt from the first newsletter for 2026! I talk about not slowing down and carrying up all the pent up emotions inside you. I end with my 2026 intentions. I'm experiencing the end of daylight savings for the first time. I come from such an 'even' timezone where the sun reigns all day long, barely taking on different moods during the summer and the winter. But now, now I must adapt. I've come to a land where the sun is a bit more moody, it appears but seldom, letting the clouds have their fun. I'm in a dull and dreary land, atleast when it comes to the weather. And now I must make a home here. So that's where I will use the lightness of my spirit, the years of strength soaked up from the sun. And I shall make it through this winter. #saveourselves #saveourselvesblog #reelsaboutlife #slowreels #daylightsavings #daylightsavingsuk #shortdays #gloomyday #spirit
